This material originates from Norcross-Madagascar's alluvial apatite quarry in Isoanala, Madagascar.  

Apatite is Natural Blue colored stone. Some describe the color as Neon Blue or Pariba Blue.  Look below for the metaphysical & scientific properties of Apatite.

The Apatite Rough you will receive will be similar to photographs. 
Disclaimer:
This apatite has been stabilized. This material will get a 60% yield cutting slices with the stabilization it has received. This product is recommended for intermediate to advanced cutters. Light stabilization will improve yield to 80%, so additional stabilization is recommended.

beautiful stone but very fractured. Every piece my husband worked on so far had split. Madagascar Minerals Response: Thanks for the comments. This apatite requires stabilization, prior to cutting, using penetration resin (ex- Opticon)for best results. Not a beginners stone! However, with stablization, the results are fantastic!! For intermediate/beginner cutters, we recommended buying our stabilized apatite.
